Brett Grossman, a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan, has once again been named to the Michigan Rising Stars list in "Super Lawyers" Magazine. The Michigan Super Lawyers' "Rising Stars" recognizes top lawyers who are 40 years old and younger or who have been in practice 10 years or less based upon peer recognition and professional achievement. "Super Lawyers", a Thompson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. This is the second year in a row that Mr. Grossman has been named in this publication.
In addition to Real Estate Law, Brett’s practice areas include
civil litigation, construction law, debt collection and estate
planning. Brett also became an accredited attorney for the
preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for
veterans benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs
(VA) in late 2009.
During his law school tenure, Brett served as an officer on the
Student Board of Governors from 1998-2001. He acted as
Senior Advisor for the law school's Moot Court program and
was a board member of the Free Legal Aid Clinic.
Prior to moving to the Vicksburg area, Brett was employed
by large law firms in Lansing and Farmington Hills,
Michigan, gaining valuable experience in the areas in which he now focus his practice. Armed with this experience, in July 2008 Brett along with his law partner, Mitch Moldovan, collaborated on their mutual desire to open an easily accessible and wide ranging community-based law office in Vicksburg, Michigan. The partners of Grossman & Moldovan, PLLC are committed to providing "large firm" results with the attention and accessibility found in a small-town office.
Brett is licensed to practice in trial courts throughout the State
of Michigan as well as the United States District Court for the
Eastern District of Michigan. His cases routinely take him to
the Circuit, District, and Probate Courts in Kalamazoo, Van
Buren, St. Joseph and Calhoun counties. Brett also continues
to serve as a court-appointed attorney in Cass County.
